The two sensors near the floor watch for anything under the door as it closes. Openers sold since 1993 are required to have them as a second safety system. When they're blocked, out of line or damaged, the door won't close or reverses partway down.
Safety Sensor Repair in Shawnee
Zach checks the sensor lights, cleans the lenses, lines the sensors back up and checks the wiring. If a sensor is damaged he replaces it, and he tests the auto-reverse before he leaves.
Garage Doors in Shawnee
Homes from the 60s through the 2000s are often on their second set of springs and an aging opener, while the newer homes out west are reaching their first spring replacement.
What to Expect
Call or text Zach at (816) 804-0072 and tell him what the door is doing. A photo or short video helps him bring the right parts. He gives you the price before he starts, does the work himself, and tests the door before he leaves.
