Zach didn't start in an office. After more than a decade in the field, he'd seen enough shortcuts, enough inflated invoices, and enough homeowners left with a door that worked well enough but not right.

So in 2024 he went out on his own — not because it was the easy move, but because he knew he could do the job the way it actually deserved to be done. American Standard Garage Door is licensed and insured, and Zach is an authorized Clopay dealer and LiftMaster installer. But the real credential is 16-plus years of doing this work personally — residential and commercial, new installs and emergency repairs, straightforward jobs and the complicated ones nobody else wants to touch.

Zach is a perfectionist in the truest sense of the word. Not because it makes good marketing copy, but because leaving a job that's anything less than exactly right genuinely bothers him. The spring tension has to be perfect. The tracks have to be clean. The opener has to be calibrated correctly. And the trim has to be finished the way it would be if it were his own house.
